HEAL ITALIA FOUNDATION

The Heal Italia Foundation it is established thanks to the European Union-funded project “Health Extended Alliance for Innovative Therapies, Advanced Lab-research and Integrated Approaches of Precision Medicine”. It represents today the Italian strategic cluster in the Life Sciences sector, with a specific focus on Precision Medicine. Headquartered in Palermo, Rome, and soon also in Milan and Brussels, it coordinates a multidisciplinary network of over 70 entities (see https://www.healitalia.eu/partner/) including 33 Universities, IRCCS, and companies. The goal is to share knowledge, research, and innovative technologies to support the Italian research and healthcare system in defining new models and approaches for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic diseases, with primary focus on oncological, cardiovascular, metabolic, rare, and neurodegenerative conditions.
