Green Steel Environmental produces a cleantech product that sequesters phosphorus and sulfur from digesters — before they become an environmental and operations problem. The core of its material is upcycled steel slag, an iron-rich byproduct from steel manufacturing that can replace the effectiveness of ferric and alum for phosphorus and H₂S control.
