Claros Technologies – PFAS Destruction and Advanced Analytical Services ClarosTechUV™ is Claros’ proprietary technology that allows for the total destruction of toxic persistent chemicals, including long, short, and ultrashort per- and polyluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), into their natural, basic elements and harmless byproducts. The system is a low energy process that operates at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. It uses a proprietary photochemical process to reduce PFAS to their constituent elements. The system can be scaled up with low capital and energy cost and can be managed on-site. A sustainable and cost-effective alternative to incineration, landfill, and deep well injection, the ClarosTechUV™ photochemical system achieves over 99.99% destruction of all PFAS compounds, including ultra-short chains in a high throughput system. Bench testing includes a full PFAS liquid chromatography mass spectrometry analysis per the EPA 1633 or ASTM 8421 panel (40 and 44 compounds, respectively) provided by ClarosLabs.
