About Abundant Bread of Salvation - ISRAEL Abundant Bread of Salvation is a humanitarian and Messianic ministry based in Netanya, Israel, providing lifesaving assistance to some of Israel's most vulnerable citizens. Led by Brian Slater, a licensed nurse and certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, the ministry combines professional care with compassionate outreach. Since immigrating to Israel in 1996, Brian has dedicated his life to serving those affected by poverty, addiction, trauma, and isolation—drawing on decades of experience in medical care, rehabilitation, and counseling. Through its food pantry in Netanya, Abundant Bread of Salvation provides monthly support to over 400 families, including many Holocaust survivors living on limited incomes. The Netanya facility also serves as the ministry's headquarters, offering free medical assistance, addiction counseling, and ongoing care to those in crisis. In addition, the ministry actively supports two local orphanages, helping care for more than 500 impoverished and at-risk children through food, supplies, and hands-on involvement.
