Our top models include the Ligno VersaTec, an all-inclusive pinless, pin, and RH moisture meter, and the Ligno Scanner SDM, known for its ease of use, accurate readings, and dual depth capabilities. Both meters support settings for non-wood materials like vinyl and concrete, as well as specialized calibrations for bamboo and subfloors like OSB and Advantech. Relative Humidity and Temperature Measurement Off the shelf thermo-hygrometers come in handy, but are often not very accurate. For increased accuracy we developed the RH BluePeg System. But that is not all. Since we have many hardwood floor installers as our customers, we developed an RH sensor which can be used for measuring the moisture evaporation in a concrete slab. Concrete Moisture with In-Situ RH Probes Many tests have confirmed that this is a more reliable test than the Calcium Chloride test to avoid moisture problems in wood floor installed over concrete slabs.
