Tanaka Kikinzoku International (America), Inc.
TANAKA Precious Metals started life in 1885 as a money exchange business dealing with precious metals in Tokyo. From that time, the company has supported the growth of society through the provision of industrial products made from precious metals. In 1889, TANAKA succeeded in commercially manufacturing Japan’s first platinum filament for light bulbs. Some time later, it started manufacturing such things as electric contact points for telecommunications and crossbar contacts for telephone switchboards. In recent years, it has held the greatest share globally of ultrafine gold wire for bonding, an essential part of semiconductor and other manufacturing processes. And currently, it is busy developing and marketing precious metal materials for vehicle sensors, vehicle exhaust emission control catalysts, fuel cell catalysts and crucibles used to manufacture sapphire substrates for LEDs, etc.

Stat Peel AG
Stat Peel makes the Identifier, a material-selective aerosol detection system, to protect people and facilities from potential contamination by monitoring employee exposure to airborne particles. The integrated Raman spectrometer can detect numerous materials, including metal oxides and polymers commonly used in batteries. Employees wear lightweight badges which collect respirable particles to measure personal exposure to potentially harmful materials. Stationary badges can be used to monitor particle release or cross-contamination. Each system is sold as a package of one bench-top reader, ten wearable badges and a starter set of filtration slides. We also offer a sampling service so you can test the capabilities of the Identifier. We ship a kit with badges and slides so you can sample at your location, then we perform the analysis at the Stat Peel lab. NEW in 2024: The Identifier L monitors particles in liquids.
