The industry is anchored by our homegrown success story, Regeneron, the largest life sciences employer in New York State. There are over 200 other life sciences companies and supporting organizations in our County, as well as a biotech incubator on the campus of New York Medical College, and a County-sponsored competitive entry, life sciences accelerator program that accepts 12 startups per year. The accelerator, WCBA, completes its 2025 cohort in May, and will then have over 70 alumni founders who have completed the program.
