After receiving our first patent in 1958 for galvanized clip landscape edging, Colmet worked continuously to grow our reputation as a company that builders and landscapers could trust. As the business grew and expanded globally, we worked to make life better for our customers. In the 1980s, we enhanced the painted edging on the market by making it shorter and more manageable for small crews and homeowners. In 2000, we invented and patented Attached-Stake Edging, which simplified retail purchases. In 2021, we were awarded a patent on our bolt-together steel planters, called FloraForm®, that complete the modern look popular in landscaping today.
