Immersion Systems
Immersion Systems, Inc. manufactures the ImmersaFlex system, which can perform Fruit and Vegetable Washing, Crisping and Rechilling, Rapid Frozen Food Thawing, Seafood De-Glazing and Thawing, and Bagged Food Chilling. All Processes can be done in one small footprint with no pumps or manifolds. Using temperature controlled water convection and immersion, a combination of Baskets that hold different products can be processed at different times by using the easy to operate Touchscreen Mapping System. This offers the operator 100% process control to help ensure Food Safety while significantly reducing labor, water, energy and chemical usage. The system has a capacity of 40 to 120 pounds of product depending on the model. Baskets slide in and out of the system using our ImmersaCart, making for easy and ergonomic loading and unloading. Between applications and end of shift, the system performs an 8 minute CIP (Clean In Place) program, which coats the inside of the tank with detergent then rinses, adds a De-Limer as needed, and then sanitizes the tank. The CIP cannot be skipped even if the power is cycled. The system can be programed to Auto Freshen the water as needed. Chemical system is fully integrated and automated on our Advanced systems. There is a hot, cold and optional chilled water line. Using our ImmersaChill you can deliver 38 degree water to the system on demand. | Immersion Systems, Inc. manufactures the ImmersaFlex system.
