The company was launched in 2020 after the founders rescued a stray kitten named Chestnut from the street. Chestnut was suffering from illness and injury, which led the founders to ask themselves, “How could we protect helpless animals from harmful microbes?” That's when we discovered the healing qualities of Hypochlorous acid (HOCl), an immunity-sourced disinfectant for wound care and speedy recovery. We then used our passion for pets to develop non-toxic ingredients that would revolutionize the pet care industry. HICC stands for “Health Innovation for Clean, Comfier Pets,” representing our company's mission to provide accessible and convenient hygiene products to protect pet health and well-being. HICC PET® created the first pet grooming gloves infused with hypochlorous acid. Originally, HOCl was unavailable for mass production due to its biological instability and volatile reactivity, so we imported a unique manufacturing technology from Japan to safeguard this solution. We use a specialized sealing package to prevent oxidative reactions and prolong freshness, preserving HOCl's denaturing effects from sunlight, air, and hot temperatures. Along with HOCl, we now have a line of grooming gloves and wipes infused with our patented coconut oil formula to assist in restoring luster to the coat while gently cleaning and deodorizing the skin and fur. We only use premium, organic coconuts from the Philippines with the highest quality plant-based ingredients, ensuring the utmost care and cleanliness for pets.
