About
About Corvallis Microfluidics Tech Hub The Corvallis Microfluidics Tech Hub (CorMic) is a public-private consortium aimed at accelerating the commercialization and scale of start-ups and small companies developing microfluidics-based products for biotechnology, advanced chip cooling, and new chemical synthesis through continuous flow processing. We will support companies with unique facilities and services in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon, with our main Foundry+ facilities in Corvallis, Oregon. The Foundry+ will include a user-accessible silicon microfluidics prototyping fab on the HP Inc Corvallis campus, with support for chip design, manufacturing and analysis from HP technical subject matter experts. The facilities will also include user-accessible biotech and continuous flow processing space with capital-intensive shared equipment and private, dedicated incubation spaces for company product development. CorMic end-users will benefit from support ranging from venture access to accelerator services to business planning services from the extensive CorMic consortium. Additionally, CorMic end-users will be part of a welcoming start-up ecosystem in Oregon, where companies lift each other up and celebrate success.
