About Vitakraft Sun Seed Inc In 2008, two family owned companies Vitakraft and Sunseed joined together to create a special new company, appropriately (and creatively) named Vitakraft Sun Seed, Inc. Each had been in business for a considerable length of time and each had a strong reputation as being an innovative, quality producer of premium bird and small animal products. For this reason, both brands exist separately today and leverage the resources of the combined companies. This includes on-staff nutritionists, veterinarians, zoologists and engineers not to mention more than 1600 employees worldwide, all dedicated to enhancing the lives of both pets and pet parents.
