About University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources The Plant Innovation Center is a first-of-its-kind hub in Northern California where startups, researchers, and industry leaders turn innovative ideas into market-ready solutions for climate resilience and food security. The Plant will offer approximately 140,000 square feet of state-of-the-art facilities on a 10-acre campus in California's Sacramento Valley. Our integrated approach eliminates fragmentation and saves valuable time and money for innovators by having greenhouse, biomanufacturing, kitchen and food processing facilities on site.
