About Town of Natick & ABI-LAB The town of Natick and ABI-LAB are jointly promoting opportunities for life science companies to set their roots in MetroWest Massachusetts. Located approximately 20 miles west of Boston, Natick is committed to attracting, retaining, and supporting biotechnology companies & employees. The town is a platinum-rated “BioReady” community, and provides streamlined permitting opportunities, pre-permitted biotech sites, and existing robust biotechnology infrastructure. ABI-LAB is a biotechnology campus comprised of four buildings, located in Natick, MA. ABI-LAB’s facilities are designed for start-ups and emerging life sciences companies, with a model designed to save time, stretch funding, and empower researchers to focus on their work. Their state-of-the-art facilities are designed to support startups and small companies with move-in ready, private lab space, ranging from 500 square feet to 2,400 square feet, with the option to configure larger spaces as well. ABI’s modular design and flexible terms allow growing and established companies to configure space ranging anywhere from 1,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet. In Home to 45+ Life Science companies, ABI’s community is designed to foster collaboration and innovation. ABI offers shared equipment in their Innovation Lab, foundation equipment for each lab, private conference rooms, all utilities, and a variety of additional resources designed to enable life science companies to extend their runways. ABI is conveniently located on Route Nine in the MetroWest of Boston, less than a mile from the Mass Pike, and a 30-minute drive away from Cambridge and Boston.
