About Texas Demographic Center The Texas Demographic Center (TDC) functions as a focal point for the distribution of Census Bureau information for Texas. The TDC is part of the national State Data Center (SDC) partnership program through the U.S. Census Bureau and supports efforts in the areas of geography, product testing, survey participation, community partnership building, and other programs. TDC serves as the lead state data center and coordinates a network consisting of coordinating agencies and state and local affiliates. The TDC provides the following services to state and local governmental units at no cost: Annual estimates of the total populations of counties and places in the State and estimates of state and county populations by age, sex, and race/ethnicity; Biennial projections of the population of the State and all counties by age, sex, and race/ethnicity; Reports, briefs, maps, and presentations on demographic trends and projection; Training and technical expertise in the use of data from various sources; Demographic web applications and dashboards; and Custom data analysis for users with specific demographic research questions.
