Testing conducted with Centexbel, a renowned textile laboratory in Belgium, demonstrated a 98% removal rate of carcinogens from gear cleaned using our CO₂ process. These findings were corroborated by subsequent studies at North Carolina State University. In contrast, traditional water-based cleaning methods achieved only a 56% removal rate. Our process not only ensures superior decontamination but also preserves the integrity and functionality of the gear. ​Lithium Battery ContaminationWith the growing prevalence of lithium battery-powered devices, incidents involving lithium battery fires have become more common, releasing toxic contaminants that can compromise PPE. In partnership with LION and the Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA), Tersus Solutions developed the world's first lithium decontamination process.
