About Tentacle Sync Tentacle Sync was founded by two filmmakers with one clear goal: to make audio and video synchronization easier, more intuitive, and more affordable. What started as a handmade prototype and a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2014 became a global success with the launch of the first Tentacle devices in 2015.Today, Tentacle Sync is a Germany-based company with a passionate team of over 20 people developing and manufacturing products used by filmmakers in more than 50 countries worldwide. From the beginning, our focus has been on compact, reliable hardware combined with powerful software, creating a seamless synchronization workflow.Tentacle Sync first gained recognition with its timecode generators and industry-leading sync software, trusted by customers such as HBO, Netflix, and the BBC. Building on this success, the product lineup expanded to include the SYNC E timecode generator with Bluetooth, the TRACK E, a pocket-sized 32-bit float audio recorder with Bluetooth timecode synchronization, and the TIMEBAR, a professional timecode display and slate for fast, reliable sync on set.
