About TechnoWood AG TechnoWood - The Swiss wood machining and wood component manufacturer. We are an international manufacturer and supplier of machinery and software in the wood industry. We combine the following three core competencies under one roof: wood, mechanical and control engineering. Our headquarters are nestled between the mighty Säntis and the unique Churfirsten mountain range in Alt St. Johann in Switzerland. History: TechnoWood AG was founded in 1992 by Urs Steinmann. In the early years we mainly concentrated on programming ISO code for 5-axis CNC machines. In addition, connections to CAD / CAM systems were programmed. Building on this core competence, other branches developed and thrived. Via the control system for upgrading existing CNC systems and equipping new systems, the path led to the development and construction of our own CNC machines. Thanks to innovation, commitment and team spirit, as well as the excellent work of the timber construction industry in recent years, we have been able to grow steadily. Together with our existing and new customers, we continue to develop and are ready for the future and its challenges. TW-Control: The TW-Control is the machine controller from TechnoWood. It runs on every TechnoWood CNC system and is the key to success. The TW-Control is an extremely efficient controller. TWOODS Line: We offer the whole package – machine and system. With the solid wood production TWOODS-Line, the proven and high-quality solid wood system TWOODS can be manufactured under license. An original timber construction system manufactured using a state-of-the-art system. TW-Agil: Do you primarily want to efficiently manufacture components with large dimensions or with complex machining operations? Then the right solution is our TW-Agil. Two spindles – one from above and one from below – ensure efficient, all-round machining of the component. TW-Concept Line: A structure needs a high quality foundation. In our solutions, this foundation is the TW-Mill. It consists of a massive portal, a protective cabin and a water-cooled 5-axis spindle. We put everything else together for you to create your optimal system. TW-Balance: Often, elements do not hang on the crane as desired. Laboriously and sometimes dangerously, one tries to maneuver the elements into equilibrium: pushing, lifting, pulling, hitting, or even with workers hanging on the elements. With the TW-Balance, such “stories” are tales of the past.
