The company was started in 1976 as a broadcast equipment rep and rapidly evolved into a stocking distributor and reseller of broadcast and audio video equipment. Currently, there are 17 sales reps and 9 field offices across the U.S and Latin America, in addition to the NC Corporate office. SCMS, Inc. is a debt free and privately held. Customers come to SCMS from professional radio, audio/visual, television broadcast, educational and religious venues, for skilled and knowledgeable solutions and great broadcast gear.
