About

About Rollem Intl. About Rollem Intl.Rollem International is a leader in the manufacturing of print finishing machinery including Die-Cutting, Kiss-Cutting, Perf, Slit, Score, Fold/glue and Card Pack Converting. The Insignia Series of Die-Cutters are sheet-fed, flexo-magnetic production geared machines designed for shorter run, faster turnaround die cutting, kiss-cutting and embellishment. Capabilities include die-cutting, kiss-cutting, perforating, creasing, cut-scoring and embossing on a range of papers, vinyl, PVC, styrene and polypropylenes up to 30 pt. in thickness. Existing packaging companies see Insignia as the perfect complement to their high-volume production die cutting machines. With its ease of operation, economical price point and fast set-ups, they can avoid lengthy changeovers on their larger die cutters and instead put test runs or shorter runs on the Insignia. With operating speeds up to 5,000 sph, multiple delivery options and the ability to operate near-line with our Strata folder/gluer system, the Insignia handles products including folded cartons, flat line boxes, REFT boxes, labels, retail hang tags, card carriers, PSA stickers and many more. Insignia is available in three sizes, Insignia 6 - 20x20”, and the Insignia7 - 24x30" up to 24 pt. thicknesses. Insignia X3 handles 24x24” and cuts up to 30 pt. thicknesses. The flexo-magnetic dies are a simple change-over from job to job and the machine does not require a skilled operator. Rollem offers information about designing and ordering flexible dies for those who are not familiar with this type of die. Insignia can deliver either a full sheet of die-cut or kiss-cut product, or it can strip the die-cut pieces from the matrix of the sheet and deliver them onto a slow-moving shingle delivery table, or onto a StackMaster, vertically receding stacker. The waste stripping unit that removes the die cut pieces from a skeleton comes standard with each Insignia die-cutter. Insignia operates either in-line or near-line with our folding/gluing systems to produce finished cartons and other packaging products, all in one process. The Insignia allows printers to expand their product offerings with this versatile, production geared machine. With an economical price and a range of capabilities, Insignia eliminates sending out work while gaining in-house control and faster turn-arounds.
