About Redbarn Pet Products Redbarn Pet Products is a family-owned business created in 1996 by long-time friends Jeff Baikie and Howie Bloxam, that makes premium pet food, treats and chews. They recognized the need for healthy, wholesome pet food and treats that are developed, produced and sold with integrity, honesty and the best quality ingredients. In 2020, Redbarn launched a line of complete and balanced dog food with the first five ingredients being animal protein, along with a limited ingredient air dried dog food that can be a full feed or topper. Redbarn offers more than 200 products across multiple categories: bully, filled bones, natural chews, dental treats and food. Redbarn has a long history of diligent quality assurance practices. In 2021, Redbarn was awarded SQF Food Safety Code for Manufacturing certification by the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Initiative at their facilities. SQF Certification is not a requirement in the pet product industry, but being certified gives Redbarn an advantage over competitors and gives consumers an even higher level of trust when buying their brands. By passing the rigorous SQF Program, they continue to prove their commitment to manufacturing the most safe, nutritious, and high-quality pet products, just as they have for more than 25 years. Even before SQF certification, their Quality Assurance team was exceeding industry standards by doing more than 3,500 tests a month on their products. Physical, chemical, and microbiological tests are performed daily while every batch of Redbarn is inspected and tested for safety and quality well before product ever reaches a pet parent’s pantry. Today, the Redbarn family includes more than 500 employees across North and South America that share the same focus. The company strives to provide products and information to help pet parents make educated, nutritious decisions for their pets.
