About Planet Aid Planet Aid is a non-profit organization operating community-based clothes collection programs and secondhand clothing stores to divert textile, promote reuse and generate funds for community development in the US and abroad. Planet Aid operates in 17 states along the East Coast and has over the last 30 years diverted more then 2 billion pounds of textiles from landfills while supporting community led development with more then $100 million. As part of continuing the strong tradition and emphasis on textile reuse, Planet Aid has started a new branch of second had retail stores. The Loop by Planet Aid focuses on fashion in full circle, by offering quality second hand clothing and engaging the community in repair and up cycling activiteis.
