About PETER – Polyester, renewed We developed PETER, a chemical recycling technology to recover polyester for low-quality, mixed, post-consumer textile waste, to produce renewed, virgin-grade polyester. We are While True, a cleantech startup, born in 2021 from a collaboration between packaging manufacturer Serioplast, chemical engineering firm Ballestra and the Politecnico di Milano.
