Kaiyodo has been in business since 1964 and is the largest domestic figure maker in Japan that has dramatically changed the direction of the hobby (figure) industry in recent years. Maxlimited was founded in 1966 and has been producing plush and vinyl figures, keychains, and other lifestyle products with licenses from some of the greatest anime franchises of all time.
