About Parasol Structures Parasol Structures transforms ordinary parking lots into renewable energy powerhouses. We design, manufacture and install solar parking structures that generate clean, lower cost energy while providing shelter from the elements. Parasol’s approach is a distinct blend of architecture and solar engineering. The result is an aesthetic solution that helps corporations, local businesses, schools and organizations express their commitment to sustainability in a highly positive and visible way. Solar carport systems provide long-term savings and energy resiliency while offering a valuable amenity for customers and employees. To date, Parasol has installed more than 325MW of our solar parking systems across the US – from modular “T” carports to longspan systems and garage-top canopies. Parasol products are functionally robust to withstand the most challenging climates, flexible enough to accommodate any solar panel. Parasol was founded in 2020 by the same team that led solar canopy design at Solaire Generation and SunPower, after its acquisition of Solaire. Our mission is to install solar with the least short-term impact on a given site, while enhancing the location’s visual landscape.
