About Orange Sky Coffee Roasters Orange Sky Coffee Roasters is a specialty coffee shop and roaster located in West Orange, NJ and is the culmination of the decade-long dream of husband-and-wife duo Ray & Trish Laws Locicero. Ray is the real coffee connoisseur of the two, but Trish comes from a long line of Filipino & Italian-American culinary entrepreneurs. Orange Sky tirelessly samples specialty coffee from around the world to develop consistent signature blends for drip + espresso, as well as rotating SOs to highlight origin characteristics that farmers work so hard to produce. Our coffees are fresh, bright, clean, and sweet and we are not afraid to develop every coffee to its greatest potential from light to dark. Ray began his foray into roasting while living in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. He started with a modified popcorn popper, graduated to a stovetop roaster, and finally hit his stride at Paolo Maliksi’s Regalia Roasting Collective in LIC (now Multimodal). Ray currently roasts on a Giesen W6A.
