About OMAC - The Organization For Machine Automation and Control Transforming and simplifying automation for the world's future, today. Provide collaborative thought leadership, standards and support to automation professionals enabling their organizations to save time, money and resources, creating room for innovation. OMAC, The Organization for Machine Automation and Control—founded in 1994, is the global organization for automation and manufacturing professionals that is dedicated to supporting the machine automation and operational needs of manufacturing. OMAC has members from end-user companies, OEM’s, and technology providers and system integrator companies. There are currently three active Working Groups: Packaging Machinery, Manufacturing, and Digital Transformation. OMAC developed and maintains the ISA-S88 TR88.00.02 standard known as PackML. Implementation of the PackML standard makes it easier to transfer and retrieve consistent machine data, as well as providing a common “look and feel” across machines on the plant floor.
