There are currently three active Working Groups: Packaging Machinery, Manufacturing, and Digital Transformation. OMAC developed and maintains the ISA-S88 TR88.00.02 standard known as PackML. Implementation of the PackML standard makes it easier to transfer and retrieve consistent machine data, as well as providing a common “look and feel” across machines on the plant floor.
