About National Association of Field Training Officers The National Association of Field Training Officers Is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to preparing Field Trainers nationwide. NAFTO provides education and resources to Patrol, Detention, Communications, and Emergency Medical Services to help navigate the challenges of working within 21st century public safety professions. NAFTO provides comprehensive, client-oriented curriculum, through classroom training, program evaluation, consultation, and development. NAFTO’s vision, as the largest FTO training and networking organization in the country, is to reach as many trainers as possible and help grow their skills and abilities as stewards of these noble professions. We are proud to say that we have the first, and currently the only, IADLEST Certified Basic Field Training Certification Course.
