About MD Hubbard Spring Company The M.D. Hubbard Spring Co., Inc. is a pioneer and leader in the use of expansion plugs for the sealing of core holes in castings and machined parts used in electric powertrains and battery systems. These include speed reducers, half shafts, electric motor housings, and cooling systems for electric motor and battery systems. We have more than a century of experience producing these products for internal combustion engines, transmissions, differentials, and powertrains and are proud to provide them for tomorrow's EV systems.
