About Lead Discovery Center The Lead Discovery Center (LDC) is a drug discovery incubator for academic projects and has several strategic alliances established (e.g. with the Max-Planck Society and several industry partners). Our pipeline comprises small molecules and monoclonal antibodies (incl. ADCs) in a wide range of indications such as oncology, cardiovascular, neurology, infectious diseases, inflammation, immunology, pain, respiratory, ophthalmology, and many others. Our business model includes starting new companies, licensing and collaborations in any design. The status of our small molecule based projects when they are available for licensing is lead nomination (proof of concept in a relevant disease model). We have all relevant infrastructure established (e.g. HTS, biology, assay development, medicinal and computational chemistry, pharmacology, PoC studies) and are permanently seeking new project ideas from academia.
