About Konopelski Meats LLC The Konopelski Meats story begins four generations ago in 1903. Louis Konopelski, a poor Polish immigrant who worked for a butcher in Poland, arrived in America with nothing but the clothes on his back and a recipe for Polish Kielbasa in his pocket. He along with his sons Joseph, and Francis made and sold Polish meats in their corner store located in Reading, PA. Today the business is run by Francis’s son Patrick and his son Ryan who use the same recipes that Louis brought to America over a hundred years ago. Konopelski Meats specializes in offering authentic Polish Kielbasa that is made with real cherry wood smoke. Their product line includes Original, Turkey, Krakowska, Cheddar, in Rope, Snack Sticks, and Bites form. They offer original recipe and nitrate free options.
