Since 2007, Iradion's patented CERAMICORE CO2 Laser Technology has successfully performed in a wide range of production applications including cutting, drilling, marking, engraving, ablating, sintering, heat treating and other processes. Conventional CO2 lasers enclose the laser CO2 gas mixture with metal electrodes/components in a glass or metal chamber, so over time metal atoms can shed into and degrade the laser gas causing power loss. CERAMICORE hermetically seals the laser gas in an inert ceramic chamber and its externally mounted electrodes excite the laser gas remotely with RF energy eliminating contamination. CERAMICORE has three compact platforms each with a choice of 10.6, 10.2, or 9.3 um wavelengths and selection of power levels: The ETERNITY 25, 30, 40, 50, 60-watt models, INFINITY 50, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150-watt models and the Destiny 200, 250-watt models. NANOCORE and FEMTOCORE product lines have been recently added offering many DPSS and Femtosecond models.
