One of our main objectives is to promote packaging research and education. Among our services, we provide a Packaging Technician Course, a Distance Learning Course, training courses and seminars on packaging related topics. The best asset of the Instituto Argentino del Envase is ENVASE, one of the most important events in the packaging industry. The exhibition has been taking place every two years since 1988, where local and international exhibitors bring the latest trends in design and raw-materials, state-of-the-art technology, machineries, and manufacturing processes. Among our services, we provide postgraduate studies – “Postgrado en Tecnología de Envases y Embalajes”, a distance packaging learning course "Curso de packaging a distancia", seminars on packaging related topics, and tailor-made coaching to professionals and companies. As regards publications, we edit a Specialized Magazine (REVISTA IAE) and a Supplier´s Directory with updated information about the packaging industry in Argentina. We count with a Technical Specialized Library and provide tailor-made coaching to professionals and companies. Last but not least, we carry out specific tests for the packaging industry, both in the chemical as well as in the physical-mechanical fields, which are requested by local and offshore companies.
