ImmunSkills is a Swiss-based biotech start up with a mission to revolutionize cancer treatment. Our platform technology involves genetically modifying allogeneic natural killer cells to resist the tumor microenvironment (TME) and improve therapeutic outcomes in solid tumor patients. Today we are aiming at being a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) offering a one-stop-shop solution for companies looking to develop new cell-based therapies targeting solid cancers. We plan to collaborate with our clients, introducing their CAR constructs into our cells and producing them at large scales. This will help our clients to de-risk their product development and accelerate their time to clinics or market.. To summarize, our clients only need to be sure about their CAR (i.e.the client’s CAR construct recognizes the tumor-specific antigen) and the rest in under ImmunSkills responsibilities Our platform technology has already shown promising results in-vitro. In order to finalize our proof of concept we intend to use a CAR-construct that has been developed at the University of Applied Sciences and targets pancreatic cancer cells. Following an eventual positive outcome of the project we may produce enough immune cells using our platform technology to initiate first studies in animal models.
