About IEEE EMC Society Founded in 1957, the IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility Society has more than 3,500 members worldwide and is the largest organization dedicated to the development and distribution of information, tools and techniques for reducing electromagnetic interference. The EMC Society's field of interest includes standards, measurement techniques and test procedures, instrumentation, equipment and systems characteristics, interference control techniques and components, education, computational analysis, and spectrum management, along with scientific, technical, industrial, professional or other activities that contribute to this field. EMC Society hosts the annual International EMC+SIPI Symposium (www.emc2025.org) and regional events held for the presentation of papers, workshops and tutorial sessions, demonstrations, open committee meetings, and award presentations to encourage collaboration and celebrate technical advances.
