About Ideal Rockaway Ideal Rockaway makes landscape rake attachments for skid steers and tractors with front loader arms. Rockaways are American-made landscape rakes that pull rocks, bricks, sticks, and other unwanted debris out of the dirt for you and condition the soil at the same time. As you backdrag with a Rockaway the rotor and teeth under the hood are churning out the rocks and other junk in the dirt and pushing earth out the top and front porting on the Rockaway hood, this is what creates a nice, fluffy seed bed or finished area. Rockaway teeth are 4.5" long and .5" thick, they are aggressive teeth made out of hardened Hardox 450 steel so they last a long time and wear down slowly. Rockaways either come with a solid collection bucket or with an upgraded screening collection bucket. The screening bucket allows you to then filter most of the dirt that gets kicked into the bucket back onto your job site before dumping the rocks. The screening buckets feature diamond-shaped openings in the bottom of the bucket that allow dirt to sift back out after you're done collecting rocks. Rockaway landscape rakes are rugged and durable, they're built to work as hard as you do and hold up to regular use over years of service. Rockaways come in 3 different sizes: 84" wide (7ft wide) 74" wide (6ft wide) 44" wide (3.5ft wide for stand-on mini skid steers). Rockaways are reliable, low-maintenance rock rake attachments that will save you hours of back-breaking labor raking rocks by hand. Each Rockaway is chain-driven with 1 Heavy Duty #80 chain that is located outside of the hood under a protective steel cover. This ensures that the chain drive never gets beat up or damaged by the rocks and debris the Rockaway churns up while operating.
