About IBAC / IS-BAO The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) is a non-profit association that advocates at the global level – at ICAO – on behalf of the worldwide business aviation community. IBAC promotes and manages the industry-leading International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) programme for best safety practices as well as for ground handling safety through the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH). As the globally recognized voluntary safety standard, IS-BAO helps operators apply industry best practices by challenging them to review and compare their safety-related policies, processes and procedures, and then make improvements, elevating them to the worldwide standard for business aviation.
