About Geotek Ltd. Geotek is a manufacturer and service provider of field-proven portable multi-sensor core scanners such as BoxScan. At Geotek, we understand the importance of capturing data in near real-time to inform geologists when making critical project decisions, which is why systems like the BoxScan are designed for the field. We have 3 decades of experience mobilising core scanners to site, so our clients can make rapid assessments of sample quality and composition. Over the years our instrument capabilities have evolved dramatically, with digitisation and visualisation of core samples acting as the main driving force. Our data acquisition processes have developed into a comprehensive workflow that combines the petrophysics, mineralogy, chemistry and imaging datasets to enable clients to gain a detailed understanding of their core and create a valuable digital archival record. Geotek provides onsite core scanning equipment as sales or service as well as onsite consultancy and training services through our talented team of geoscientists, technicians, and partner organisations. In addition, if a customer doesn’t have the space for core scanning equipment or wishes for temporary installation, Geotek can provide mobile container labs.
