About EyeD Pharma About EYED PHARMA Micro-Implants for the Future of Eye Care Founded in 2012, EyeD Pharma is a clinical stage pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the life of patients suffering from ophthalmic diseases with unmet medical needs such as glaucoma or dry eye. We develop innovative therapeutic solutions based on sustained release polymeric micro-implants and inserts. Our leading clinical-stage product candidate is an intraocular implant allowing a sustained release of API up to 9 years that could ensure 100% patient’s compliance and could considerably reduce treatment side effects, preventing further vision loss and drastically improving the patient’s daily quality of life. To support the development of our innovative R&D pipeline, we built our own Contract and Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), UniD Manufacturing, gathering our strong technological expertise and IP in three unique technology platforms, in-house tailor-made equipment, and talented experts in a highly proprietary GMP approved environment. Today, our team gathers 80+ experts and managers with an average of 18 years’ pharmaceutical expertise in our environment-friendly offices and CDMO in the Science Park of Liège, Belgium.
