About Ettlin Smart Textiles GmbH ETTLIN Smart Textiles GmbH is a company of ETTLIN AG, which was founded in Ettlingen, Germany in 1836. Our business is the development and production of high-tech textile structures for private and industrial use. Most products are based on the EasyLeno technology from Lindauer Dornier. Applications include architectural fabrics, invisible insect screens, lighting textiles and textiles with electronic functions. Our high-tech insect screens “Transpatec” are patent pending and the market leaders in Germany and Europe in their segment. All production takes place in Europe, with a focus on Germany. The weaving mill is 100% powered by hydropower and solar energy from our own plants.
