About Etaluma, Inc. Etaluma is a San Diego bio-imaging company offering incubator-based high performance multi-channel fluorescence microscopy. Our specialty is time-lapse live cell imaging in an incubator for days and even weeks to continuously visualize essential data for migration assays, wound healing, corneal epithelial cells, angiogenesis, and retinal cell behavior. Our short and simple optics path yields resolution and sensitivity that beats the big four. We have removed the oculars, the arc lamp, the filter wheels and the CCD from the traditional microscope; we instead use LEDs, CMOS cameras, and multi-bandpass filter sets to increase the sensitivity and resolution while allowing all of our models to be used in incubators, hypoxia chambers, and on your bench. Phase contrast, bright field and dark field transmitted modes are included. The LumaviewPro application is based on Python and is available as open source and includes a RESTful API.
