About
About CAB Solar CAB® Solar pioneered above ground cable management for grid-scale, ground mount projects. CAB® Solar’s first-of-its-kind above ground cable management system, using uniquely designed hangers, messenger wire specifically selected for its supportive strength and suitability, and other supporting hardware, is widely recognized by the solar community for its ease of installation and cost savings. CAB® Solar’s revolutionary, patented Cable Management System with Integrated Grounding uses a specially engineered grounding messenger wire strong enough to provide support functionality and evaluated to be conductive enough to serve as an Equipment Grounding Conductor (EGC) and a Grounding Electrode Conductor (GEC). CAB® Solar is the solar product division of the Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped in Western Pennsylvania. CAB® brings quality, world-class products to our customers while maintaining our strong commitment to our mission of providing Independence for Persons with Disabilities through employment opportunities. The CAB Solar Cable Management System is an innovative, cost and time saver for utility scale systems. Using a messenger wire to support hangers to hold cabling, the system has revolutionized utility scale cable management. The patented Integrated Grounding System allows the messenger wire to be used as the EGC and GEC, and saves even more. Manufactured by the Cambria County Association for the Blind and Handicapped in Western Pennsylvania. Founded in 1927, our mission is to provide employment and rehabilitative services for persons with disabilities and quality products for customers around the world.
