Our latest batteries are built for use with SMARTMon, a free program that provides the user with tools that were only available through a repair center in the past. The Smart battery connects via USB-C cable and is evaluated. The program will attempt to resolve a problem with a firmware reset or by clearing a safety shutdown. If needed, the program will create a request with the BLUESHAPE tech team, which will follow up with the user. SMARTMon is also capable of installing general firmware updates, specific firmware patches or upgrades and can put the battery in sleep mode for safe shipping and/or storage. Battery fleet owners and rental houses benefit from the cloud features for controlling all the batteries.
