About Altus / Koala Equipment ALTUS adventure courses are tailor-made and adapted to the landscape and terrain available therefore each course is unique. All our courses are equipped with a continuous belay system and can be built on natural supports, on artificial supports or as freestanding courses. They can also be built on a combination of all these supports. Altus courses are compliant with the European and American standards. ALTUS is a design and construction rope course company since 1997, based in the French Alps. We have implemented over 400 projects in 26 countries across 5 continents thanks to our know how and experience acquired. All our courses are equipped with a continuous belay system and can be built on natural or on artificial supports or freestanding courses. We also operated 3 courses in France.
