Invest in Trentino is a project launched by the Autonomous Province of Trento and managed by Trentino Sviluppo, the provincial agency established in 1986 to encourage and support the sustainable development of the territory by helping companies interested in locating in Trentino with business location, consulting and support services. Invest In Trentino brings together a network of professionals working in synergy and bringing together different experiences and skills, aiming to enhanced innovation and research institutions in Trentino by creating business opportunities capable of attracting national and international companies and startups interested in the advantages of the Trentino System. Trentino has launched the development of a new thematic Technology Hub dedicated to Life Sciences, with the goal of attracting startups, companies, and specialized professionals. A 30,000-square-meter space focused on omics sciences and personalized medicine. The Hub will be equipped to support the establishment of research centers, shared workspaces, dedicated laboratories, and experimental facilities, as well as pharmaceutical companies. The project stems from the ambition to merge the existing expertise in the biological field (cellular and molecular biology, systems biology, and synthetic biology) with that in chemistry, physics, computer science, mathematics, and engineering—bringing together the capabilities of the two main research institutions, CIBIO and the Bruno Kessler Foundation, with those of the business sector.
