Korea Packaging Machinery Association (KPMA)

The Korea Packaging Machinery Association (or KPMA), established in October 1994 in the presence of 24 promoters, is Korea’s only association made up of packaging machinery manufacturers.For 30 years, KPMA has promoted various projects and initiatives in an effort to have the members’ interests taken care of and to develop the industry, such as education/ training for packaging operations, domestic/overseas trade shows, international exchange, promotion of exports, presentation of awards, publishing business, and consulting services ─ with a view to sharing information on new technology and management strategies as well as fostering friendship among the members. Strengthening cooperation with other packaging machinery associations overseas, KPMA has regularly participated in trade shows held in various areas, making widely known the excellence of Korea’s packaging machines.In particular, KPMA is the organizer of KOREA PACK, Korea’s major show contributing to the development of the packaging machinery industry. The fair allows customers and visitors from all over the world to experience the technological excellence of Korean packaging machines and to actively share useful feedback with the exhibitors. Currently, KPMA has a membership of 140, and the members are classified into regular and special members, respectively. As a qualification, a regular member should be a manufacturer of a packaging machines or other relevant machinery in Korea, while a special member should be a manufacturer or supplier of packaging machine parts or components, or a provider of relevant services.Some of the products manufactured by the members include weighing & counting M/C, auto bagging M/C, filling & canning M/C, cap sealing M/C, cup filling & sealing M/C, flexible & rigid form, filling & sealing M/C, over-wrapping M/C, band sealer, shrink packaging M/C, carton packaging M/C, case former, labelling M/C, and palletizer. These products, supplied to various industries such as food, pharmaceutical products, cosmetics, chemicals, and many more, can be customized with guaranteed quality and performance.
