One of the primary uses of Vincent presses is waste from food processing facilities. The purpose is to separate the water from the waste. This allows the water (press liquor) to be treated or sent to sewer. The solids (press cake) going to landfill or for animal feed are typically reduced in volume and weight by 50%.
