The Brazilian Machinery Builders´ Association (ABIMAQ) represents approximately 8,000 companies from the most diverse segments of mechanical capital goods manufacturers, whose performance has a direct impact on other national sectors and is nationally structured with headquarters in São Paulo, nine regional offices and a political office in Brasilia. Beyond the institutional representation of the sector, ABIMAQ has a professional management and its activities are aimed at generating business opportunities for its members, performing actions with political and economic authorities, stimulating trade and international cooperation and contributing to improve their performance in terms of technology, training of human resources and management modernization. The result of a partnership between the Brazilian Machinery Builders´ Association (ABIMAQ) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the Brazil Machinery Solutions Program aims to promote the brazilian exports of machinery and equipment, as well as to strengthen Brazil’s image as a manufacturer of mechanical capital goods. Focusing on markets such as Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Germany, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, South Africa and United States, the Program performs several actions aimed at bringing Brazilian business community to such markets with the purpose of showing them the quality and the differentials of machinery and equipment from Brazil. They do not only draw attention for their quality, but also for their inventiveness, that is, they meet the actual demands of customers, adapting to the needs and peculiarities of each one.

x | The Abiqui (Brazilian Industry Association of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) was founded in 1983 to represent and defend the pharmaceutical and API industry. At the beginning of 2010, it also represented companies engaged in the production of pharmaceutical adjuvants, non-active pharmaceutical inputs, and service providers in the sector. The main objective of Abiqui is to stimulate production, technological development, and exports of active pharmaceutical ingredients manufactured in Brazil. Given the nature of the provider of the drug segment, the entity brings together the various links in this chain, promoting internationalization, research and development actions, and working with the sanitary control and promotion agencies.
