The Pennsylvania Hardwoods Development Council promotes the forest products industry from Pennsylvania and provides information about hardwood lumber, logs, veneer, and other secondary wood product suppliers. Pennsylvania has the largest hardwood forest in the United States with over 123 billion board feet of standing saw timber. The state is also a major supplier for FSC and SFI certified materials.
