Barnes Welding Supply is a 4th generation family owned and operated welding supply business. We have Twelve Retail Branch Locations serving the communities of Fresno, Bakersfield, Citrus Heights, Clovis, Madera, Modesto, Porterville, Sacramento, Salinas, Stockton, Turlock and Visalia. Our large Central Distribution Warehouse and a fleet of delivery trucks supply our own branch stores, direct shipments to customer, and freight shipments to our catalogue sales customers. It is Central Distributions’ job to get the products to their customers by the most timely and efficient method possible. We offer an in-house Welder Service Department with employees that are factory trained and warranty service authorized for the major brands of welding equipment. The service includes a mobile truck for emergency on-site service. We have a very competent and experienced Outside Sales Force to call on you at your place of business to discuss with you any needs you may have regarding welding, compressed gases, or bulk cryogenic product applications. We have a state-of-the-art Data Processing, Billing and Accounting system. All locations are linked to each other in real time allowing all locations to have current information on your account and the products you have purchased from us. All branches can check stock at other branches or in our main warehouse in Fresno. We have our own Gas Production Plants located in Fowler, Stockton, Salinas, Bakersfield and Sacramento, California where we fill our own cylinders. We mix and test our own multi-component, ultra-pure and specialty gases for Welding, Beverage, Laser and other processes. We test and re-qualify cylinders to meet D.O.T. and other government regulations. We own and operate bulk gas transports in both Nitrogen and Carbon Dioxide service. We install CO2 Beverage and Grower Gas systems through our Taps CO2 division. We manufacture Dry Ice in both Fowler and Sacramento locations. To ensure the accuracy, we also implemented a cylinder tacking system (ACM) to help us verify the accuracy of our cylinder rental billing system. This electronic system tracks the movement of cylinders between fill plants, stores, and our customers.
